Military vehicles and re-enactors basked in the sunshine at the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway’s military vehicles event over the weekend with an array of military memorabilia on display.

Wallingford station hosted a range of military vehicles on May 11 and 12, from some used in the Second World War, to those deployed in the post-war period by the British Army as well as a selection of armoured vehicles.

The event also marked the first public appearance of the newly formed Red Line Home Guard Living History Group.

The Cholsey and Wallingford Railway is an entirely volunteer-run heritage railway.
